What Rebates Are Available Through Snohomish PUD?

Snohomish County PUD offers rebates in electrically heated homes. You may also qualify for door rebates when upgrading certain types of sliding glass doors.
You may qualify if:

  • Your home is heated with electric forced air
  • Your new windows or doors are ENERGY STAR® certified
  • The U-Factor of the product is 0.30 or lower
  • Your home is existing construction (not new construction)
  • You live within Snohomish County PUD’s service area

Sliding glass doors may also be eligible:

  • Replacing single-pane sliding glass doors: $100 per door
  • Replacing metal-framed double-pane sliding doors: $50 per door

*Note: Homes heated by gas or propane are not eligible for PUD weatherization rebates.

Replacing Windows and Doors to Improve Efficiency

Many homes in the area still have outdated, drafty windows and doors that leak heat and drive up energy costs. Replacing them with modern, insulated products helps:

  • Reduce heat loss and drafts
  • Lower monthly energy bills
  • Maintain consistent indoor comfort year-round

We install ENERGY STAR® certified windows and doors from brands like Milgard, PlyGem, and Lindsay—products designed to meet Snohomish PUD’s rebate standards.

FAQ

Do I qualify if I have gas or propane heating?

No. Snohomish PUD rebates are only available for homes with electric resistance heating.

Are door upgrades eligible?

Yes—PUD offers rebates for sliding glass door replacements, depending on the existing door type and the U-Factor of the new one.

Is there a minimum number of windows or doors required?

No minimum. As long as the products meet requirements and your home qualifies, you can receive a rebate for even a small project.

How do I apply for the rebate?

After installation, we will submit a completed rebate application along with proof of purchase and product specs. We’ll help ensure all documents are in order.

Can I get a rebate for replacing just the glass?

No. PUD rebates apply to full window or door replacements only, not glass-only repairs.
