Breeze Free replaces windows, exterior doors and failed insulated glass in Mukilteo, in Snohomish County, about 30 minutes from our shop in Snohomish. Mukilteo is Snohomish County PUD territory, so electrically heated homes qualify for PUD's window rebate, $100 per window replacing single pane and $50 per window replacing a double-pane frame. Cory, the owner, measures every job himself and puts the quote in writing within 48 hours.
Older homes sit close to the water near the ferry dock, and 1970s and 1980s split-levels run along the top of the bluff. Most were built with wood or early aluminum windows, and the seals give out long before the frames do.
Harbour Pointe filled in through the 1980s and 1990s: two-stories and split-entries with wide picture windows aimed at the water. That vinyl is now old enough to fail at the seal, and it shows first in the biggest units.
Salt air and wind do not treat every wall the same. On an exposed lot the west and southwest windows take the storms while the rest of the house looks fine for years. Partial replacement is normal here.

Glass replacement in MukilteoSnohomish County PUD serves Mukilteo. Homes heated with electric baseboards, an electric furnace or a heat pump qualify for PUD's window rebate: $100 per window replacing single-pane glass, $50 per window replacing a double-pane frame, with new double or triple pane windows rated U-0.30 or lower and a PUD-registered contractor doing the work. Breeze Free is registered for windows. PSE supplies natural gas in parts of Mukilteo, and a home heated with PSE gas falls under PSE's own window rebate instead. Glass-only work never qualifies for either. Amounts and eligibility can change, so we confirm the current program with the utility before you order.

On the bluff and in Harbour Pointe the west side of the house takes the weather, so we often replace that side first and leave the rest for later, recording the product so the two halves match. Vinyl sliders and casements with double-pane low-e glass at U-0.30 or lower are the usual spec, which keeps the PUD rebate in play for electrically heated homes. Salt air is hard on hardware, so we specify stainless or coated locks and rollers on the exposed elevations, and we check every sill for the rot that a wet west wind leaves behind.

Love the new windows- they're already making a making a noticeable difference in home comfort. This winter I am sure it will help with my power bill too. I got four quotes, and Breeze was the only company willing to install the new windows with requiring new trim on the siding, which is a huge help since I am not replacing all my windows at once. I definitely will call Breeze again when I am ready to replace the rest of my homes windows.
They were here on time and did a great job of putting my slider in and cleaned up their mess. Plus there was a crack on the door and they put the replacement order in right away. Great Job....This is the second time I have used them.
Awesome company. Family owned and operated. Great price, great quality and very professional installers!

Yes. Mukilteo is served by Snohomish County PUD. An existing home with permanently installed electric heat qualifies when the new windows are double or triple pane at U-0.30 or lower and a PUD-registered contractor installs them. Breeze Free is registered for windows. A home heated with PSE natural gas falls under PSE's program instead.
On the weather side it does. Wind-driven rain and salt find tired weatherstripping and aging seals faster than a sheltered wall does. It is common for fog between the panes to appear on the west side of an exposed house while the same windows on the back still look new.
Yes. We match the new units to what stays so the house still reads as one house, and the rest can wait. Cory measures every opening, tells you which ones are actually done, and quotes the weather side and the whole house so you can compare the two.
